RETURN & WARRANTY POLICY

At World of Sweet Dreamzzz, we want you to purchase with confidence. We aim to make returns, refunds and warranty claims as simple and fair as possible, subject to the Consumer Protection Act (CPA) and applicable South African law.

1. CHECK YOUR ORDER

Please inspect your mattress as soon as reasonably possible after delivery or collection.

Any visible damage, incorrect product, incorrect size or shortage should be recorded on the delivery note and reported to us, preferably within 48 hours, with photographs where possible.

Signing the delivery note confirms receipt and the apparent condition of the product but does not affect your rights regarding defects that could not reasonably have been identified at delivery.

2. CHANGE-OF-MIND RETURNS

We do not automatically accept returns because a customer has changed their mind, ordered the wrong size, does not like the firmness or no longer requires the product.

At our discretion, we may accept a return within 7 days of delivery or collection if:

• The product is unused, unopened and undamaged;

• It is in its original packaging;

• Proof of purchase is provided;

• All labels and accessories are included; and

• The product is not custom-made, personalised, specially ordered, clearance, display, refurbished, bulk, hospitality or commercial stock.

Approved change-of-mind returns may be subject to a 15% handling/restocking fee, plus applicable collection or transport costs.

3. DEFECTIVE OR INCORRECT PRODUCTS

If a product is defective, does not match the agreed specifications or the wrong product was supplied, please contact us as soon as possible.

Under the CPA, qualifying goods are generally covered by an implied six-month warranty of quality.

Where applicable, the customer may be entitled to a:

• Repair;

• Replacement; or

• Refund.

The product may need to be inspected before the claim is approved.

4. WHAT IS NOT COVERED

Warranty cover does not normally apply to problems caused by:

• Normal wear and tear;

• Changes in comfort preference;

• Normal settling or softening of the mattress;

• Stains, burns, cuts, spills, moisture, mould or infestation;

• Misuse, abuse, bending, folding, dragging or jumping on the mattress;

• Incorrect handling or storage;

• An unsuitable or damaged base;

• Exceeding the recommended weight capacity;

• Unauthorised repairs or alterations; or

• Failure to follow the mattress care instructions.

Commercial, hospitality and student accommodation use may be subject to specific product and warranty conditions.

5. ADDITIONAL PRODUCT WARRANTIES

Some World of Sweet Dreamzzz products may carry an additional manufacturer's guarantee or warranty.

The applicable warranty period will be stated on the quotation, invoice, product documentation or product label.

Additional warranty claims are subject to the applicable product warranty terms and inspection.

A warranty claim relating to one component does not automatically mean that the complete bed set will be replaced.

6. MAKING A CLAIM

Before returning a product, please contact World of Sweet Dreamzzz for a return or warranty reference.

We may request:

• Proof of purchase;

• Product details and size;

• Photographs or video of the problem;

• Photographs of the mattress base or frame; and

• Details of how the mattress has been used and maintained.

Please do not return a product without prior approval.

7. REFUNDS

Approved refunds will normally be made to the original purchaser using the original payment method where reasonably possible.

Voluntary returns will generally be processed within 14 business days after approval and receipt of the returned product.

Statutory refunds will be handled in accordance with applicable law.

IMPORTANT

Nothing in this policy removes or limits any rights a customer has under the Consumer Protection Act or other applicable South African law.

World of Sweet Dreamzzz reserves the right to inspect products before approving a return or warranty claim.
